Recognising that women are agents of change and catalysts to sustain peace, foster prosperity and safeguard social cohesion, strengthening effective mechanisms to promote this agenda becomes an increasingly important task. This goal is also in line with the region’s vision of an inclusive community that promotes high quality of life, provides equitable access to opportunities for all, and supports the protection of human rights.
