Each ACWC representative is appointed by his or her government. The process of appointment differs in each country.

H.E. Datin Paduka Hajah Intan bte Haji Mohd. Kassim (Current ACWC Chair)

Her excellency served the Brunei Government for more than 29 years. After retirement, she transitioned to academia and lectured in law. She is the President of the Brunei Social Welfare Council. This is her second term with ACWC. Her first term was as Bruneis Representative for Womens Rights.

H.E. Mrs. Khiev Bory

Mrs. Khiev Bory has served as the Secretary General of Cambodia National Council for Children (C. N. C. C.) since 2009. Prior to assuming this position she worked with the Ministry of Planning. This is her second term with ACWC.

H.E. Ms. Yuyum Fhahni Paryani

Ms. Yuyum Fhahni Paryani is currently an Independent Emergency Specialist and Consultant for Child Protection and an External Member of the Emergency Roster of Plan International. Ms. Paryani has been actively involved as a Facilitator in the Child Care Indonesia Network (Jaringan Peduli Anak Indonesia), which is supported by UNICEF and the SMERU Research Institute.

H.E. Ms. Congchith Chantharanonh

Ms. Congchith Chantharanonh has been the Acting Secretary General of the National Commission for Mothers and Children Secretariat since 2011. Prior to assuming this position, she worked for the Mekong River Commission Secretariat and a range of different government departments. This is her second term with ACWC.

H.E. Prof. Datuk Dr. Chiam Heng Keng

Prof. Datuk Dr. Chiam Heng Keng is a well-known authority on child and adolescent psychology and early childhood education. She is one of the three longest serving Human Rights Commissioners on the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM). Her 5th term ended in April 2010. This is her second term with ACWC.

H.E. Dr. San San Aye

Dr. San San Aye is currently working as a Deputy Director General of the Department of Social Welfare (DSW) under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Myanmar. Prior to this, she served at the Ministry of Health for 21 years. During a couple of years in DSW, she has dedicated in establishing a Social Protection system in Myanmar and a deep involvement in corner stone policy movements in terms of developing ECCD Policy, Youth Policy

H.E. ATTY. Alberto T. Muyot

Atty. Alberto Muyot is currently the Undersecretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs of the Department of Education and a Commissioner on Culture and the Arts. He is also the official representative of the Philippines to the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization-High Officials Meeting (SEAMEO-HOM) and the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Education (ASEAN SOM-ED).

H.E. Mr. Koh Choon Hui

Mr. Koh Choon Hui is a businessman, active volunteer and community leader. He has been Chairman of the Singapore Childrens Society since 1978 and served on the board of numerous other charitable/ service organizations. This is his second term with ACWC.

H.E. Mr. Wanchai Roujanavong

Mr. Wanchai Roujanavong is currently a Senior Consultant Prosecutor in the Office
of the Attorney-General of the Kingdom of Thailand. He was previously the Director
General for International Affairs Department, and Director General for the Labour
Litigation Department in the Office of the Attorney-General. He also used to be the
Director General for the Department of Correction, and Director-General for the
Department of Juvenile Observation and Protection in the Ministry of Justice.

H.E. Mr. Dang Hoa Nam

Mr. Dang Hoa Nam has served in the field of childrens rights, communication, social marketing, and public relations for over 20 years. Currently, Mr. Hoa Nam is the Deputy General Director of Child Protection and Care Department at the Ministry of Labour- Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) of Viet Nam.
